Wedding FAQ's

Sweet Buns specialise in buttercream cakes and sweets, they are very aesthetically pleasing and taste delicious. Buttercream cakes are very versatile in terms of flavour, colour, finish and design.

However, if you are considering intricate "sugar paste" designs or traditional fruit cake/rolled icing for your wedding cake, I would kindly advise that you considering using another vendor - I am passionate about my specialty in using buttercream and fresh decorations.

For a full range of cakes and sweet I offer, visit my Menu

As standard, I deliver and set up your wedding cake on the morning of your wedding (normally between 10am -12noon). Due the nature of buttercream cakes, if it is a very warm day, they cake may need to remain in the fridge until serving. I will liaise with your caterer/event planner is this situation occurs.

Delivery and set up fee will be stated in your quotation.

If you wish cancel your cake order:

For wedding cakes cancelled less than six months before the wedding date, no refunds will be given.

50% of deposit payments (or minimum £50 cancelation fee) may be honoured if the cancelation is made at least six months before the booked wedding date.

If you reschedule your wedding, we will try my very best to accommodate your new date, but if we are unable to do so, your payments are not refundable.

Please contact me to discuss further options.

COVID 19: For the weddings that have to be postponed due to the current pandemic of coronavirus, I would honour a 75% refund of the deposit if I am unable to accommodate your new date. The 25% taken is a small charge to cover my admin costs.

You may wish to hire a cake stand to present your cake on your wedding day, I do not charge for the hire of the stand, however, there is a small deposit to be paid, which will be refunded on returned of the borrowed goods.
